Owned by the City of Glendale and managed by ASM Global, Desert Diamond Arena was home to the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Arizona Coyotes from 2003 until 2022. Located about 12.5 miles (20.1 km) northwest of downtown Phoenix, the arena was built east of Arizona Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) and on the north side of West Maryland Avenue at a cost of $220 million. It is the home arena of the Indoor Football League's Arizona Rattlers.
